Jonathan Leeman is the president of 9Marks. After undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science, he began his career in journalism, working as an editor for an international economics magazine in Washington, D.C.
Since his call to ministry, Jonathan has earned a Master of Divinity and a Ph.D. in theology, and has served as an interim pastor. Today he edits the 9Marks series of books and the 9Marks Journal, and is the co-host of the Pastors Talk podcast.
He teaches adjunctively at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Reformed Theological Seminary. Jonathan lives with his wife and four daughters in a suburb of Washington, DC, where he serves as an elder at Cheverly Baptist Church.
